Jurick Family; This week at WAT

Many of you know the Jurick Family. Sons, Bailey (13-14) and Cole (15-18) have been a part of this team for almost 10 years. Their father, Jon, has played a key volunteer role, as head official, for several years. They now need our prayers and help. Mom, Stacy, is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. If you are interested in providing a meal or gift card donation, please visit www.mealtrain.com/trains/m8yyr7 for details. This family has given so much to this team for many years, lets show them our love and support.

Team Pictures: There will be no practice on Tuesday, June 5th. Please wear your team suit if you have one and be ready by 9am for team pictures, individual pictures to follow. Order information will be given that day. Lessons will be as scheduled at 10:30am

Concession Stand Donations: We are asking families to please donate drinks for our concession stand. This is 1 major way we have kept registration prices down. Please bring your assigned drink to the shed by WEDNESDAY this week. (Does not apply to lesson only families) If you are out of town this week, please bring before our next home meet (June 28.) Please bring the name brand product requested as it makes life much easier on our concession stand workers. Donation requests are per family, not per swimmer

Last Name beginning with:

A-G 1 case (or 2 12 pks) Coca Cola cans

H-P Gatorade multipack bottles (any flavor) (20 oz bottles preferred)

R- 1 case (or 2 12 pks) Diet Coke

S-Z 1 case (or 2 12 pks) Sprite

Swim Meet and Lost and Found: I do have 2 team shirts turned in from the last meet. If you are missing yours, follow up with me. Please label your shirts with your name.

Please also ask your swimmers to pick up all of their trash and belongings when they leave. We have a lost and found pile in the back bathroom at the pool.

PLEASE ARRIVE BY 5PM for the meet this week.  As the home team, we warm up first.  We will email out the heat sheet on Wednesday and have printed copies for $2 ea.  Our concession stand opens as soon as we can get it staffed.  We will have Baked Potatoes, Pizza, Chick Fil A sandwiches and snacks.  **If you are interested in helping bake potatoes, please see Kari or Janet Jensen.

Position Available: MEET STARTER The meet starter sets the tone and pace of the meet. They announce the race and sound the start signal. (Home Meets Only) Mike Stagl does a GREAT job at helping our meets run smoothly. We would like to find someone to work with him this year as an “apprentice”. It would be great for next season, to have someone partner with him to help split the meet or serve as a backup. There are training classes in the spring by the league. For this season, if someone is interested, they could assist Mike and check out the position before committing.

Volunteer Coordinator: We are always looking for the next generation of team administrators. If you are interested in assisting with team administration, please speak to Kari. The volunteer coordinator helps check in volunteers at swim meets and keeps and eye on sign ups to help ensure all spots are filled. If you volunteer for this position, it will fulfill your volunteer requirement. Many hands make light work!
