For those attending our County Championship meet, I have many details below:

Tickets/Venue:

The meet is at Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center, 750 Ferst Dr, Atlanta, GA 30318

We are given a certain number of tickets per session based off the number of the number of swimmers we have in each session. I will be handing out tickets at the party Thursday night. (If you are out of town this week and unable to pick up tickets, text me when you arrive at the venue, I should be around the heat sheet table. 314-368-6519)

Unlike years passed, Georgia Tech is going to have security walking the aisles so that standing behind the handicap seats in not permitted. The meet will stop if security cannot get parents into the stands.

Other notes:

Folding chairs are not allowed in the stadium seating area

Coolers are not allowed in the stadium seating area (Swimmers can have on deck)

All Spectators must be in seats during the meet. No parents are allowed on deck.

NO GLASS at ALL

Security and GTPD will be on site if you have any questions

Heat Sheets: Heat Sheets are $10 each and have all events for the entire weekend. Some like as a keepsake. Do know that Coach has a copy on deck and can tell the swimmers what their line-up is. The purchase is optional. (There is a team ad with our swimmers names, unless they were added last minute.)

Relays are run before individual events. Your swimmer may leave after they have completed their events or they make stick around and cheer on their teammates!

Schedule:

Session 1 - Warm up 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM; Start Time 9:20 AM Saturday, July 14th (9-10 yr. olds)

Session 2 - Warm up 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM; Start Time 3:15 PM Saturday, July 14th (13–18 yr. olds)

Session 3 – Warm up 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM; Start Time 9:15 AM Sunday, July 15th (8 & under)

Session 4 – Warm up 1:15 PM to 2:45 PM; Start Time 3:00 PM; Sunday, July 15th (11-12 yr. olds)

County Meet Streamed LIVE!

The GCSL championship meet will again be streamed via webcast. All 4 sessions will be available to viewed both live and on demand after the meet.

With over 2,000 children participating in the meet, this is an opportunity for those who can't attend all 4 sessions, for family members who cannot attend, and other swimming fans generally to still see the meet. The link below will have the live stream for the 4 sessions.
